We have good news that we are able to enter into OWHA if we have enough girls in each age group. The teams would either play in
There are two different leagues available and we can choose to play in either one.
Kitchener Girls Local League
Teams in this league include: Waterloo, Guelph, Woodstock, Ayr, Woolwich, Wilmot, Grand River (Fergus). For the first half of the Season everyone plays all the centers. Then the second half they are divided into an A and B division to remain competitive.

Western Ontario girls hockey league
Teams in this league include St Thomas, South Huron, North Middlesex, Huron, Mooretown, Ilderton and Bluewater. The advantage to this league is if the team does well in the first half, they will be moved up to a C division.

In an effort to get girls teams established, will you please let myself know if your girl is interested in playing on a Tavistock girls Local League team. Please let me know what age group they are in also.
We would like to see all the girls succeed and play at a competitive level. If your girl has entered into tryouts and signed up with another Centre, can you please let me know so we have an idea what girls are remaining in Tavistock.
