November 3rd - 9th
On Tuesday November 4th the Saputo Atom Reps hosted Paris and lost a tough game by a final score of 3-1, with Paris scoring their final goal into an empty net. Russ Sebben was solid between the pipes.
This past weekend the team competed in the Paris tournament and played some fantastic hockey!
The team managed their way to a 2-1-1 record through four tough round robin games, all four decided by 1 goal or less. This set up a semi-final showdown with Hanover. In one of their best games of the year, Tavistock controlled the game and outworked their opponent, but in the end could not solve the Hanover goalie and came up just short by a 1-0 score.
Goal scorers for the weekend were Nathan Patton (2), Branden Gerber, Nathan Brenneman, Marc Dionne (3), and Keeton Bartlett. Assists went to Ayden Wilkins, Dionne, and Connor Roth. Russ Sebben and Justin Roth provided strong goaltending throughout the weekend, giving up just 8 goals in the 5 games.
