Atom Reps Kick off Season!!
The Saputo Atom Reps kicked off their regular season in Southern Counties League action with their home opener on Tuesday, October 1st, vs the St. George Generals.
The hometown fans saw great teamwork and end to end action, with the end result a 6-4 win on the night. Point getters for Tavistock were Tyler LaFleur 2(1), Jay Alexander 1(1), Ryan Zehr 1(1), August Morschausser 1, Brady Kuiack 1, Peyton Christie (2), Calvin Verkuyl (2) and Grayden McRoberts (1). The team played host to the Plattsville Rage on Tuesday, October 8th, coming up with a convincing 12-0 win over the visiting team. Putting points on the board for Tavistock were Tyler LaFleur 4, Jay Alexander 3(3), Even Nahrgang 1(4), Ryan Zehr 1(1), Brady Kuiack 1(1), Calvin Verkuyl 1(1), Peyton Christie 1(1), Colin Smith (2), Grayden McRoberts (3), Dylan McCann (1) and Drew Roth (1). Netminder Spencer Otto had the shutout in the Titans' net. Game 3 of the season saw the team on the road to take on their Twin Centre counterparts. Again, the boys showed great teamwork, and after back and forth action, skated to a 3-3 tie. The Titans got a quick start on a marker by Drew Roth with the help of Evan Nahrgang and Calvin Verkuyl. Also putting points on the board in that game were Brady Kuiack and Grayden McRoberts with LaFleur adding a helper. The team's next action is Tuesday, October 15th vs the Simcoe Warriors on home ice.
