Atom Rep Update
On Sunday February 15th, the Saputo Atom Reps continued their Southern Counties playoff round robin with a game in Cayuga. Tavistock was able to find the back of the Cayuga net 6 times in skating to a 6-3 win. Nick Raymer led the attack with a hat trick, with the other goals coming from Keaton Bartlett, Connor Roth, and Branden Gerber. Assists went to Bartlett (2), Nate Patton, Marc Dionne, Mac Alexander (2). Russ Sebben picked up the win in goal.
On Tuesday February 17th the team played host to Twin Centre and played to an exiting 4-4 tie. Tavistock found themselves trailing 4-1 midway through the second period, but continued to battle back and made it a 4-3 game with just over a minute remaining, and tied the game on a goal by Dionne with only 15 seconds remaining. Also scoring for Tavistock were Gerber, Ayden Wilkins, Nathan Brenneman, with assists going to Brenneman (2), Raymer (2), and Bartlett. Justin Roth made several big saves throughout the first two periods to keep Tavistock in the game.
On Tuesday February 24th the Saputo Atom Reps played host to Norwich in Southern Counties playoff action. The locals trailed 1-0 after 1 period of play, but scored two in the second and added three more in the third for a convincing 5-2 win. Keaton Bartlett and Nate Patton both scored twice for Tavistock, with Ayden Wilkins also picking up a goal. Assists went to Carter Roth, Bo Schurink, Marc Dionne (2), Connor Roth (2), Nick Raymer, and Patton. Russ Sebben was solid between the pipes throughout the game in picking up the win.
