Atom Reps Finish Year Strong!
The Saputo Atom Reps played in the Arthur tournament on Sunday March 22nd, and enjoyed a great day of hockey!  The team opened up the tournament with a 5-0 victory over the hosts from Arthur.  Keaton Bartlett scored the hat trick, while Peter McIntosh scored twice.  Assists went to Kailyn McIntosh (2), Nate Patton (2), Carter Roth (2), Nick Raymer and Connor Roth.  Justin Roth picked up the win and shutout.

In their second game, Tavistock was once again up to the task as they skated to a 5-1 victory over Essa.  Marc Dionne and Bartlett led the way with two goals each, with Carter Roth adding a single.  Assists in the game went to Ayden Wilkins (2), Branden Gerber, Raymer, Kailyn McIntosh and Connor Roth. This earned Tavistock a spot in the ‘A’ final against a strong Hanover squad.

In a thrilling final game, Tavistock came up just short by a 2-1 score.  Nate Patton scored the only goal of the game for Tavistock, tying things up late in the first period.  Justin Roth was strong in the Tavistock net keeping the score close, but the team was unable to net the equalizer.  The entire team had a great final game, giving it everything they had.

The Saputo Atom Reps finished off a great season by capturing the Southern Counties championship with a thrilling 2-1 win over St. George. In one of their most determined efforts of the season, the local team played great hockey from start to finish. After falling behind late in the first period, Tavistock picked up their game and dominated St. George the rest of the way. Marc Dionne tied the game early in the second, assisted by Ayden Wilkins and Nathan Brenneman. Two minutes later, Bo Schurink put Tavistock ahead by banging in a loose puck, with  Keaton Bartlett picking up an assist on the goal. Tavistock continued to outwork their opponents throughout the third, and hung on for the 2-1 victory. Russ Sebben was solid in goal in picking up the win.

Congrats to the team on a great season!!!
