"Patton Huge in Opening Wins"
The Bruce Kropf Forestry PeeWee's take 2-0 lead in Opening Series.

Last Tuesday was the series opener for the Titans and with a goalie battle happening it was the Titans who were able to score the lone goal allowing Sam Patton's great effort between the pipes pay off. Game 2 took place in Wellesley this past Saturday, Twin Center looking to even the series came out with good jump and were able to take quick advantage scoring early. That seemed to be the wake up call that the Titans needed and with a shot using the defenceman for a screen Kyle Roth was able to blast one from just inside the Blueline and even the score at 1-1. With an early Power play opportunity in the second period Izac Blum was able to sneak one through and another power play late in the period Chad Brown was able to blast a point shot past the keeper to take a 3-1 lead. Twin Center was not about to go away in the 3rd and took advantage of some chances and with 3 breakaway chances, like game 1 Sam Patton was not about to let the Stars back into the game and was once again Rock Solid in shutting the door. Cole Hartman was able to add one more with 5 minutes to go and seal the 4-1 win. The Titans look to close out the series on Home Ice Tuesday night when they play game 3. The Titans would like to thank the fans for there support in both rinks. The PeeWee's can be followed on there home page by going to the Tavistock Minor Hockey Website.
