Titans Travel to Hespeler to Continue Playoff Action
The Woodstock Sportswear PeeWee LL Titans traveled to Cambridge to take on the Hespeler South Shamrocks.  They lost to this team in their last game and they wanted to redeem themselves.

It was a beautiful day for a drive into Cambridge.  The last time the Titans played here, the game started fifteen minutes late and was cut off by arena staff minutes before the final buzzer.  Coach Marv Leis made sure that history was not going to repeat itself, especially if the score is close!

The first period almost went without the score board lighting up (the goal numbers anyways).  Drew Brenneman didn't let that happen.  With just a minute left in the period, he caught a pass from Luke Way and slipped it in past the Shamrock goaltender.

The second period proved to be an exciting 10 minutes.  After so many attempts and such close encounters, Bayslee Cressman achieved her first goal of the season.  The spectators were just as thrilled as she was to finally see the puck luck be on #3's side and slip in to cross the goal line.  Assists on this went to Evan Britton and Jayden Marriott.  The Titans were consistent at keeping the puck in the opposing end, defense Jackson Stolz, CJ Myers, Drew Brenneman and Aaron Schlosser were diligent at stopping it at the blue line.
Bo Schurink found the back of the net after receiving the black from Kaleb Albrecht.  The score after 2 was 3-0 for the Titans.

The visitors would double their score in the third period.  Just like in the first, Drew Brenneman took the puck and just wouldn't give up until it found the back of the net.  Bo Schurink registering the assist.   Two minutes later, Brenneman got his third point of the game when he passed the puck to Owen McArthur who lit the lamp up, making the score 5-0.  Russ Sebben was stopping all that was coming his way, en route to another shut out when the locals snuck one past him.  The Titans were determined to win the game by 5, 37 seconds later Bo Schurink got his second of the game to make the score 6-1 which proved to be the final score.  CJ Myers and Bayslee Cressman chipped in to help.

In the dressing room the coaches did nothing but praise the team for all of their efforts and hard work during the game.  The team made simple plays and worked together and that is how the game was won.
