Bantam Reps Move On To OMHA Finals!
The Dordan Mechanical Bantam Reps moved on to the OMHA finals with a 1-0 win over the BCH Ice Dogs in Game 4 of their OMHA Semi-final.
Tavistock and BCH played a tight, evenly matched series and game 4 was no exception. The teams were deadlocked in a scoreless duel until Jay Schurink fired a third period slapshot into the top corner on a nice drop pass from Connor McIntosh. Special mention goes to the defensive corps of Simon Bender, Chad Brown, Jon Francis, Taylor McKay, Daen Richards, Spencer Roth, and Ben Smith, as well as goaltender Brett Munro, for shutting down a very strong BCH offence all series.
The Reps will play the winner of the Newcastle/Brighton series. Game times and locations will posted here when available.
