Tavistock Bantam Reps Lead OMHA Finals 2-0
The Dordan Mechanical Bantam Reps have taken a 2 games to 0 lead in their OMHA CC Final against the Brighton Braves.

In game 1 in Brighton on March 14th, Jay Schurink set the tone early for the Titans by scoring 22 seconds into the game, assisted by Spencer Roth, then followed up again with an unassisted marker just past the 2 minute mark. Brighton scored one before the end of the period to narrow the gap to 2-1. Jack Holdsworth restored the two goal lead for Tavistock early in the second then scored again assisted by Mitchell McKay and Ben Smith to give the Reps a 4-1 lead going into the second intermission. McKay continued the pattern with 2 goals of his own in the third making the final score 6-1 Tavistock.  Brett Munro played a strong game in the Titan net, turning aside several excellent Brighton scoring opportunities. In game 2 in Tavistock on March 15th, Brighton came out fast and aggressive, scoring 2 goals in the first before McKay answered back, assisted by Holdsworth, with only 28 seconds left in the period. Tavistock would take a 3-2 lead as Holdsworth would tally 2 more with assists to Ben Wiffen and McKay. Cal Munro scored a pair in the 3rd with assists to McKay and Roth to up the lead to 5-2. McKay finished the Tavistock scoring with an empty netter assisted by Mike Schlotzhauer. Point producers were Mike Schlotzhauer (1), Calvin Munro 2, Spencer Roth (2), Ben Smith (1), Jay Schurink 2(1), Ben Wiffen (2), Jack Holdsworth 4(1), Mitchell McKay 4(3). Game 3 is Friday, March 20th at 7 pm in Brighton with game 4 (if necessary) back in Tavistock on Sunday, March 22nd at 12:30 pm.
