Titans Begin OMHA Quarter Finals
The Saputo Atom Reps had a busy schedule last week with 4 games both in OMHA and Southern Counties League action.
The first game of OMHA quarter finals went on Tuesday night where the Titans dropped an 8-2 decision to a strong Ilderton team. Scoring for Tavistock was Bo Schurink and Nathan Brenneman, while assists went to Dylan West and Brady Raymer. Game 2 of that series was back on home ice when Ilderton came to town and after much perseverance, the Titans fell to the Jets by a score of 7-1. Bo Schurink scored the lone goal for Tavistock with the help of Dylan West. Back in Southern Counties league playoff action, the Titans played host to the Six Nations Blackhawks on Wednesday night with the teams skating to a 3-3 tie. Point getters for Tavistock were Bo Schurink, Ayden Wilkens, Carter Otto, Ashlyn Witt (2), Dylan West and Brady Raymer. On the road to Wellesley on Thursday night found the team dominating, picking up a 9-2 win over the Twin Centre Stars. Goal scorers for Tavistock were Carter Otto 2, Bo Schurink 2, Dean Alexander 1 and Ayden Wilkins 4. Earning the assists were Dylan West, Connor Roth, Nathan Brenneman (2), Otto (2) and Schurink (2).
