The
Bluemont Excavating Novice Reps started their OMHA finals versus the South
Huron Sabres this past weekend.
Game one was on the road in Exeter and the boys got on the board first with an unassisted goal by Tucker Otto. The Sabres were able to answer back and the team suffered a tough loss to a fast skating Sabres team. On Sunday back in Exeter, the team came out flying and pressured the Sabres all game. After a hard fought battle, they finished on the losing end of a 6-2 game. Jay Alexander scored for Tavistock with help from Bailey Brenneman and Alex Everett. Tucker Otto also scored for Tavistock in game 2.
The Novice Reps also finished up their league playoffs this past week when they travelled to Simcoe to take on the Warriors. The entire team came out skating hard and drove to the net on every shift and came away with a 7-4 victory. Point getters in the game were Tucker Otto 5 (1), Liam Hilts 1, Gavin Witt 1 (2), Rowan Bartlett (1), Cooper Yantzi (1), Alex Everett (1), and Drew Roth (1).
Game 3 of the OMHA finals goes this Wednesday in Tavistock at 7:10. Let’s fill our barn and support this hard working team. Come out and cheer on your Novice Reps!
