Peewee Reps Advance to OMHA Quarter Finals!!
The B. Kropf Forestry Peewee Reps have had a busy week in OMHA playoff action.

Monday night on the road to Waterford saw the Titans in game 3 of their playoff second round, unfortunately suffering a 3-2 loss on the night, making it a 2-1 series in favour of their opponent.  Scoring for Tavistock were Ayden Wilkins and Marc Dionne, with Colton Masters adding a helper.

Back on home ice on Wednesday night, the team would once again face their Waterford counterparts.  The Titans competed in a well-disciplined, hard-fought battle taking the Wildcats 4-2, which would tie the series at two games apiece.  Point getters for Tavistock were Bo Schurink 2, Colton Masters 1, Ayden Wilkins 1, Nathan Brenneman (4) and Nick Raymer (2).

On Saturday, it was game 5 of the series with Waterford having the home ice advantage.  The Titans were trailing by 2 until late in the first, when Marc Dionne netted an unassisted marker, making it a 1-1 match heading into the second.  The second period was scoreless for Tavistock while the Wildcats pulled ahead by one.  Down but not out, the determined Titans squad battled back to tie the game late in the third.  Hard work by the line of centre Ayden Wilkins and wingers Mac Alexander and Bo Schurink resulted in a Wilkins goal, sending the game into a sudden death overtime period.  It would only take two minutes into the extra frame for Schurink, assisted by Dionne and Wilkins, to jam the winner past the goalie to clinch the series!!  Goaltender Justin Roth was stellar, holding "the wall" throughout the series, especially early in the OT period.

The Titans will now advance to the quarter finals vs South Huron.  Good luck Titans!!
