Midget Reps Advance To OMHA CC Finals
After series victories against Twin Centre, Dunnville, and Goderich, the Delles Carriers/ New-Life Mills Midget Reps have advanced to the OMHA Midget CC finals against the Campbellford Colts.
The Delles Carriers/New-Life Mills Midget Reps swept their semi-final against the Goderich Sailors in 3 games to advance to the OMHA CC finals. In the series opener in Tavistock, the Titans erased a 2 goal third period deficit against a talented Sailors squad on their way to a 3-2 victory. Game 2 in Goderich saw more of the same as Tavistock again had to rally in the third, eventually prevailing by a 3-2 score. The Titans kept to the same script in game 3 in Tavistock, scoring 3 times in the final frame to complete the sweep with a 5-3 win. The Titans will put their undefeated OMHA playdowns record (9-0-1) on the line as they face the Campbellford Colts in the finals. Games 1 and 3 will be held in Campbellford on March 11th and 18th at 3pm while Tavistock hosts games 2 and 4 on March 12th and 19th at 2 pm. The Midget Rep players and coaching staff would also like to congratulate the Novice Reps as they compete against the South Huron Sabres in their OMHA CC Finals.
