The Bluemont Excavating Novice Reps had a great week picking
up a win and a tie in home and away matches. On Tuesday, the team travelled to
Ingersoll to take on the Express. The boys came out skating hard and got on the
board first with a goal from Tyler Lafleur with help from Marshall McKay.
Ingersoll made the score even in the third and the game finished in a 1-1 tie. Tavistock
netminder Spencer Otto made many key saves during the game including a game
ending glove save to keep the game tied.
On Saturday, the team played host to the Ayr Flames. The titans found the back of the net early in the game and never looked back finishing with a 5-1 victory. Point getters in this game were Cam Munro 2(1), Marshall McKay 1, Jay Alexander 1, Brady Kuiack 1, Tyler Lafleur (1), and Drew Roth (1). Graydon McRoberts made some key saves in the Tavistock net to ensure the win.
