The Bluemont Excavating Novice Rep team had three games on
the schedule this past week. On Wednesday, the team was on the road to
Caledonia. After a close first period, the home team pulled ahead, leaving the
titans with a 6-2 loss.
Back at home on Saturday the team played host to Ayr. The boys came out skating hard and found the back of the net early. They continued to pressure the flames and came away with a 6-4 win. Spencer Otto made many key saves during the game to ensure the win.
On Sunday, the titans faced off with the Caledonia Thunder on home ice. This game saw Tavistock take the lead in the first. The Thunder added two in the second frame, but the titans continued to battle in the third and were able to tie it up. The game finished in a 2-2 tie. Goaltender Grayden McRoberts was solid between the pipes for Tavistock.
