The Bluemont Excavating Novice Rep team continued their OMHA
semi-finals this week with home and away matches with the Twin Centre stars.
At home on Tuesday, was game two of the series. The titans battled
hard, but unfortunately dropped a 4-0 decision to the visiting team.
On Thursday, the team traveled to Wellesley. The boys came out skating hard but found themselves down by three mid way through the second. A determined titans squad fought back as Keagan McMahon found the back of the net with help from Brady Kuiack and Jay Alexander. Before finishing the second frame, Drew Roth scored with help from Tyler LaFleur. In the third, the titans tied up the game on a goal from Jay Alexander assisted by Peyton Christie. The stars answered back late in the third to go ahead. Tavistock continued to pressure the stars but came up short finishing with a 4-3 loss. This game saw the titans OMHA playoffs come to an end after a hard-fought series with Twin Centre.
The titans will finish up their league playoffs this Wednesday when they travel to Hagersville.
