Clinton Tournament Champs
The Dordan Mechanical Bantam Reps had a busy schedule last week starting with hosting Six Nations on Monday. The boys jumped to an early lead in the first and didn't let up winning 7-2. The next night they travelled to Tillsonburg where they faced a tough goalie who held them to a 1-0 lead all game till Tillsonburg tied it with a minute left. The reps didn't quit and forced the play into Tillsonburg's end where they scored with 3 seconds left to win 2-1. Friday saw the team travel to Clinton for a tourney where they faced Goderich and won a close one 3-2. Saturday in game 2 against Seaforth saw a slow start for the reps but they got it going in the 3rd and won 5-2.
Sunday in the championship game against Lucknow saw the boys come out strong and win the tournament with a 5-1 score. Solid goaltending all week again from Justin Roth and Sam Patton. Point getters were Izac Blum 4(2), Marc Dionne 3(3), Carter McKay 5(3), Owen Donaldson 3(2), Brady Griffi 2(3), Dylan Haight 2, Kyle Burchatzki 1(1), Reid Forthuber 1, Jackson Sim 1(2), Owen McArthur(2), and Kyle Stock(2).
