The Bluemont Excavating Novice Reps started their league
playoffs this past week. On Wednesday, the team travelled to Langton to take on
the Leafs. This game saw the home team go ahead first. Tavistock battled back
in the third putting up two goals, but Langton scored with a minute left to tie
it up. Tavistock pressured the Leafs in the last minute but weren’t able to
capitalize and finished with a 2-2 tie. On Sunday, the boys were on the road to
Tillsonburg. Tavistock got on the board first in this game and maintained the
lead throughout the game. The titans came away with a 5-3 win.
Putting up points for Tavistock were Keagan McMahon 4, Marshall McKay 2(1), Dylan McCann 1(1), Jaxx Witzel (2), Carter Cook (1), Jackson MacMillan (1), and Ryan Zehr (1).
The team’s next action is Thursday when they travel to Pelham to start their International Silver Stick Finals! Good Luck boys!!
