MIDGETS WRAP UP LEAGUE AND READY FOR OMHA
The
New Life Mills/Delles Carriers Midget reps finished Southern Counties
league play with a 10-3-6 record good enough for fourth place and a spot
in the A division league playoffs.
They were 1 point out of third and 3 points out of second in a closely matched league. This past weekend Tavi competed in the South Kent tournament beginning on Friday against South Kent which saw the reps skate to a 4-0 win. On Saturday in game 2 with another solid effort against Dresden, the boys again came away with a 4-0 win and a first place record. This put Tavi into one of the semi finals against West Lorne which would prove to be a tougher test but the boys were up for it and won 4-3 giving them a berth in the finals. Tavi would come up against a strong team from Fort Erie and once again played a tough game but it wouldn't be enough losing 3-1. Great tourney guys! The Titans start there OMHA Playoff Run against the West Lincoln Wrath this Saturday the 12th on the road, with game 2 at home on Monday the 14th. Should be some great hockey to come out and see!
