Covid Cases are Climbing in EZT
Submitted By Larry Kropf on Sat 12 12, 20
Covid Cases are increasing across the Southwestern Public Health Unit (SWPHU).  You can track the changes through this link:

https://www.swpublichealth.ca/en/reports-and-statistics/covid-19-dashboard.aspx

There is a lot of speculation that the SWPHU will be moved to the Red Covid Classification from Orange, where we currently are.

The minor hockey executive is monitoring the situation closely and understands the implications moving to Red will have on our programming.

If that change happens, we will keep everyone aware of the impact it will have on each Bubble group.

In the meantime, please be aware of the increasing numbers, and do your part to control the spread!
  • Social Distance at all times in the arena
  • Wear a mask
  • wash your hands frequently
  • Limit exposure for everyone, 1 parent only per player, if necessary
  • Follow all the protocols the Arena and Minor Hockey have implemented to keep everyone safe
Everyone is tired of the restrictions, and it's very easy to become complacent.  Let's use the rising numbers as a wake up call, to do everything possible to reduce the spread, keep our programs running, and enjoy a safe Christmas season!

Stay Safe!
