Positive Covid Test wtih TDMHA Family
There has been a positive Covid Test for a parent in our Organization. The person is not hiding their identity and want the message delivered to Take Covid Seriously!
Because of his family's Situation, every possible safeguard was followed, to minimize the risk to high risk family members. Despite this, they still contracted Covid!
I was asked to insist that everyone follow distancing protocols and wear a mask, at all times in the arena except when on the ice. Public Health has stated that properly wearing a mask reduces the risk dramatically.
We are committed to offering our programs, only if we can do so safely!
Since no players are exhibiting symptoms of Covid 19, and on the advice of our Public Health Unit, Minor hockey programs will continue with the protocols in place.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and make future decisions as more information comes available.
Please do your part to keep our community safe and report any illness or positive test results to Jason Murray and I ASAP.
