Thank you Volunteers!
Submitted By Executive on Fri 03 25, 22
We have an amazing organization and we have just under 100 volunteers working hard and donating their time to make Tavistock Minor Hockey great. Last night our volunteers were able to visit and enjoy a great meal together.

Thank you to the executive members who spend many hours behind the scenes, making tough decisions, rolling with ever-changing Covid guidelines and OMHA announcements, yet always trying to give the best hockey experience for every single skater in our organization.

Thank you to every coach who makes the game fun, makes every player feel valued, focusses on development of hockey skills, character and team building. Thanks for finding ways to communicate in a positive way, giving constructive criticism as well as pointing out improvement and hard work. Thanks for donating your time and energy and connecting with each skater to give them a great experience and a love for hockey. Thank you for smiling and giving a kid a nickname to make him/her feel special.

Thank you to the trainers who are making hockey safe for our kids. Thank you for the time spent on continuing education. Thanks for helping out on the bench and on the ice and being a great role model for our kids.

Thank you to our managers, who organize everything behind the scenes. Sending emails, signing up and organizing tournaments, getting team rosters and collecting money.

Thank you to those who organize the ice, gate keepers, referees, and time keepers.

Thank you to our Minor Hockey Parents Committee who spend their time raising money which reduces registration cost for every skater. Thank you for organizing the Orange Barn, Elmira Chicken, and TKO Jersey fundraiser.

We are extremely thankful for the time and energy donated by our many volunteers.
