Novice Reps Tied for Top Playoff Spot!
The Bluemont Excavating Novice Reps travelled to Six Nations on Sunday, continuing their Southern Counties league playoffs, tying the league-leading Blackhawks.

After a hard-fought battle and a 2 goal deficit, the Titans managed a 4-3 win over the Blackhawks.  Opening the scoring in the second period for Tavistock was Carter Skillings from Dylan West.  As momentum was building, West would add another marker 2 minutes later with the help of Carter Roth.  The Titans were able to shut down the Blackhawks in the third, allowing no goals, with netminder Zack Roth turning away several great scoring chances.  West netted a third period goal on a pass from Dean Alexander to tie the game at 3.  With 5 minutes left in the game, Keaton Bartlett came through with an unassisted goal to make it a 4-3 game.  Great defence for the remainder of the game would allow the Titans to hold the score at 4-3, sealing the victory!!

The Titans' next playoff action is Saturday, February 28th, when the Titans will play host to the Six Nations Blackhawks and try to take the lead in the standings.
