Peewees compete in Silver Stick
The B. Kropf Forestry peewee reps competed in the Kincardine Silver Stick tournament last week. Game 1 saw the reps face Mitchell and come out flying. With strong goaltending from Sam Patton the reps won 3-1. Game 2 saw the boys play the host team and get off to a slow start and fall behind 2-0. Goalie Justin Roth held the boys in it till they battled back to tie it in the 3rd only to lose a heartbreaker in the dying seconds of the game. Game 3 saw the reps play the eventual tourney winner Listowel. The boys played a strong game with a lot of heart but fell 2-0. Game 4 against Walkerton was meaningless for both teams and ended in a 2-2 tie.
