Atom Reps Continue League Play
The Saputo Atom Reps continued their Southern Counties League play last week with 2 games on the schedule.
The first match-up went on Tuesday on home ice against the league leading Ingersoll Express. After the strong Express team was up by 3 goals part-way through the second period, a determined Titans squad answered back with markers by Max Harvey and Dylan West. The Express would put one more goal on the board in the second to make it 4-2. The Titans closed the gap in the third as Jake Hauss found the back of the net, making it a 1 goal game. With the goalie pulled and an extra attacker in an exciting final minute, the team pulled out all the stops, but was unable to capitalize, suffering a 4-3 lost. Assisting on the Titans goals were Carter Skillings (2), Dylan West and Max Harvey. Goaltender Zack Roth was strong between the pipes keeping the score close. Wednesday saw the Titans face the Caledonia Thunder and after a hard-fought battle, dropped a 9-3 decision to the home team. Goal scorers on the night were Dean Alexander, Dylan West and Logan Rose with Carly McIntosh, Alex Michaels, Max Harvey and West adding the helpers. The Titans will play host to the Burford Coyotes on Tuesday, November 22nd. Game time is 6:15 p.m.
