The Saputo Atom Reps had a busy week this past week with a league game and their Regional Silverstick Tournament.
On Tuesday the team played host to the Ayr Flames and held a 1-0 lead, on a goal by Alex Michiels from Morgan Brenneman, until late in the second period. After some unfortunate calls and a waved off goal, the Titans fell to the Flames by a 4-1 deficit.
On Wednesday the Titans began their Regional Silverstick Tournament in Wingham vs a strong Kincardine team, and unfortunately after a hard-fought battle, suffered the loss. Goaltender Zack Roth earned MVP of the game, facing many shots in the Tavistock net. On Thursday, the squad faced the BCH Ice Dogs, suffering a 6-1 loss. Max Harvey scored the lone goal for Tavistock. Game 3 of the tournament saw the team face off against the South Huron Sabres. A tough loss resulted in the Titans being eliminated from further play in the tournament. Great teamwork was evident as the coaching staff stated the all important phrase "We win and lose as a team!" Good job Titans.
