Peewee Reps Sweep OMHA FIrst Round!!
The B. Kropf Forestry Peewee Reps played home and away matches with their Twin Centre counterparts in OMHA playdowns action this past week.
Game 1 of the week went on Monday as the team travelled to Wellesley to face their opponents in game 2 of the series. Both teams battled hard all game, and in the end, the Titans took the Stars with a 3-2 win, taking a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. The boys were back on home ice on Tuesday as they hosted the Stars for game 3 of the series, and the hometown fans would not be disappointed. End to end action, even with a 3-1 deficit, did not discourage the Titans as they fought hard to eventually prevail with a 4-3 victory over the Stars, sweeping the series in 3 games. Point getters for the week were Bo Schurink 4, Quinton Hardman 1 (3), Carter Roth 1 (2), Dylan West 1, Connor Roth (4), Carter Otto (2), Kevin Schweitzer (1) and Brady Raymer (1). Netminder Zack Roth made many key saves in the Tavistock net to seal the wins.
The team will now advance to the next round against the West Lincoln Wrath. Game 1 of that series goes on Tuesday, January 16th in Tavistock. Game time is 7:25 pm. Good luck Titans!!
