Peewee Reps Eliminated from OMHA Playdowns
B. Kropf Forestry Peewee Reps began their second series of OMHA playdowns this past week with home and away matches verses the West Lincoln Wrath.
Game 1 of the week went on Tuesday on home ice as an aggressive visiting team with a distinct size advantage hit the ice. The boys battled hard and had a tie game to show for it at the end of 2 frames. Unfortunately, the Wrath wore the Titans down and pulled ahead in the third, taking game 1 by a score of 7-2.
Game 2 saw the team on the road to the home of the Wrath on Saturday, where, after some injuries and very aggressive play, the Titans dropped a 6-2 decision to the home team.
Back at home on Sunday, in front of their supportive hometown fans, the boys were able to stick with their opponent until the 3rd period, but once again, the strong Wrath team pulled ahead for the win, taking the series. This would eliminate the Titans from OHMA playoffs. Point getters for the week:Bo Schurink 3, Connor Roth 2 (1), Quinton Hardman 1, Carter Otto (2) and Dylan West (1).
They will continue with their Southern Counties League playoffs on Sunday, January 27th, when they will travel to Cayuga to face off against the Stars.
