Bantams Play Ilderton in Quarter Finals
Submitted By Mike Donaldson on Monday, February 19, 2018
The Dordan Mechanical Bantam Reps had a busy week starting with a league playoff game against Ingersoll on Sunday.  Tavi gave up an early goal but then turned it up to skate to a 3-1 win.  Monday in Tavistock saw the boys host Ilderton in game 1 of the OMHA quarter finals.  Three periods and an OT couldn't decide the game as it finished tied 2-2.  Thursday night back in Ilderton saw the locals come out strong but Tavi held on.  Both teams exchanged goals in the third forcing OT again.  This time Tavi got one through for the 2-1 win.

Sunday night back in Tavistock our boys fell behind 2-0 early in game but battled back eventually getting the tying goal with a minute left in the game sending it to OT.  Tavi once again was able to get one to win 3-2.  The reps go back to Ilderton Thursday up 5 points to 1.  Point getters were Izac Blum 3(2), Carter McKay 2, Owen Hill 1(1), Kyle Burchatzki 1(1), Owen Donaldson 1(1), Owen McArthur 1, Dylan Haight 1, Kyle Stock(2), and Marc Dionne(1).  Solid goaltending from Justin Roth and Sam Patton helped get the wins in these tight games.
