TAP (Tavistock Assistance Program)
Both the U13 Rep C and the U9 MD teams have worked hard the past few weeks and together with their families purchased toys, gift cards, food and hygiene items and donated them to TAP (Tavistock Assistance Program).

The U13 Rep C team collected food, hygiene items and gas/grocery gift cards at the arena and were able to fill more than one full hockey bag of items! They willingly came to practice early to help box up all the items and get them ready to donate.

The U9 MD team collected items and sponsored a family through TAP. This team was given a "wish list" from TAP and the kids and families worked together to go out and purchase these items and donate them.  Some of the kids used their own money to donate and give back to their community.

The holidays are exciting for some and difficult for others, and we wanted to work together to make it a cheerful Christmas for all of our neighbours to the best of our ability.

As hockey teams we value team work and realize that everything works a lot better if we can work as a team. The U13 team sent a representative to drop off donations to Linda Holst, and the U9 team met Linda at the arena and were able to give their donations directly to her! We are grateful for all the donations that were given to both of these teams, thank you Tavistock!!!
