Opens League with 3 Gamer!
The Delles Carrier/New Life Mills Midgets open Season with 3 games!

Season Opener began this past Saturday in Ingersoll as the Midget and Bantam Titans were invited to play in Ingersolls "Night of Pink" in support of the Oxford County Cancer Society. The 1st period was a fast paced flow and it didn't take long for the Titan boys to open the scoring. With hard work and a great cycle came the boys were able to control most of the game in Ingersolls end and capitalize on some of there opportunities and walk out with a 3-2 win, Goal Scorers Derek Hyde and Justin Wagler with 2.
Game 2 the very next night was in Alymer against a very physical Alymer team that jumped out to an early lead and then still taking it to the Titans scoring two more in the second to put the Titan boys down 3-0 heading into the break. With a regroup session in the Dressing Room the boys were pumped taking the ice in the 3rd period and with a PP to start Derek Hyde was able to slide one between the wickets of the goalie just 17 seconds into the period which brought the boys some new energy. With the legs moving and hard work the boys were able to swing the momentum in there favor and Tristan Wilhelm was able to slide one through a screen from Mike Johnson just 2 minutes later and they weren't done yet...just 2 minutes later with Gibson Lamond doing great work along the boards and finding a seam to the net got a shot off and Mike Johnson was able to pick up a loose puck and tie the game at 3-3. With a late pentaly the boys had to dig deep and with Alymer gabbling by pulling there goalie Jamieson Hergott came with in inches of completing the win but was just off by inches and the boys were able to walk away with a tie. Game 3, the Home Opener again the very next night vs. the local rivals from Twin Center deemed to be a very tight match and Twin Center was able to catch a break early to take a 1-0 lead. With action going back and forth for the remainder of the game and a late last minute push by the Titans they fell just short loosing 1-0. Good Job to all D-men playing short and both Goaltenders, Jensen Vanboekel and Brandon McIntosh.
