Special Teams key to Series Lead
The Delles Carriers/New Life Mills Midgets take 2-0 series lead.
The Midget Reps recently started there first round of OMHA Playoffs in great fashion taking the 1st two games of the series with 3-1 and 1-0 wins and will be looking to finish the series on home ice Monday night with a 3rd win.
As expected the first two games were close and hard fought by both teams not wanting to give an inch. Its the Titans special teams that have been the biggest factor in the 2 wins, with the man advantage scoring 3 times and killing off all power play opportunities by Twin Center. With Special Teams being the key factor there are others that have been superb with the shot blocking and great D-Zone efforts on the walls getting pucks out at key times along with timely saves by Jensen Vanboekel. The boys would like to thank everyone for the local support in both rinks so far and look to continue seeing you at the rinks.
