The Bluemont Excavating Novice rep team played two home games
this past weekend in Southern Counties league play. On December 19, the team
played host to the Plattsville Rage. The game saw lots of end to end action,
but the titans were not able to get much past a strong Plattsville goalie,
finishing with a 3-2 loss. Goal scorers were Logan Rose and Carter Skillings
with help from Luc Dionne and Tucker Otto. Hayden McCann made many great plays
at both ends of the ice earning him player of the game. Logan MacMillan made
some key saves in the Tavistock net to keep the game close.
On December 20, the Titans hosted the Aylmer Flames. The team battled hard, but came out on the losing end of a 4-1 game. The lone Tavistock goal was unassisted from Carter Skillings. Logan MacMillan made great saves between the pipes earning him player of the game.
