The Bluemont Excavating Novice rep team played
host to Burford on Saturday, in Southern countries league playoffs. The team
battled hard, but came out on the losing end of a 2-1 game. The lone Tavistock
goal was scored by Blake Stere with help from Carter Skillings and AP player,
Hayden McCann. Bryce Hutcheson made many key saves in the Tavistock net to keep
the game close.
On Sunday, January 17, Tavistock hosted the Twin Centre Stars in the first game of the OMHA playdowns. This game saw lots of end to end action and a very solid team effort by Tavistock throughout the game. The Titans finished with a 2-2 tie. Carter Skillings lead the way for Tavistock with a pair of goals. Assisting on the goals were Blake Stere and Tucker Otto. Logan MacMillan played a great game in net. The team’s next action is Saturday when they host Delhi.
