Novice Rep, 2015-2016 (Tavistock Minor Hockey)

The Bluemont Excavating Novice rep team finished their season as the Novice Rep B finalists in the Southren Counties League. On Sunday, the team travelled to Norwich to take on Burford in the finals. The team came out skating hard and played a great game but it wasn’t enough to get past Burford and they fell by a score of 5-3. Goal scorers were Carter Skillings, Morgan Brenneman and Logan Rose. The Bluemont Excavating Novice rep team travelled to Wellesley on March 22nd to take on the Twin Centre Stars in the semi-final game of Southren Counties league playoffs. The team came out skating hard and played a great game! There was no scoring until the third period when Tavistock found the back of the net. The titans never looked back and finished with an exciting 3-1 win! Leading the way for Tavistock was Tucker Otto with a hat trick. Assisting on one of the goals was Carly McIntosh and Luc Dionne. The Bluemont Excavating Novice rep team finished up their round robin league playoffs with two games this week. On March 6th, the team travelled to Six Nations. The titans battled hard but lost 7-3. On March 9th, they were on the road again to Delhi and finished with a 2-1 win. This win advanced them to the league semi-finals. Point getters in the two games were Tucker Otto 2, Alex Michiels 2, Morgan Brenneman 1, Carter Skillings (3), Logan Rose (1), and Blake Stere (1).
