Atom Reps Take Series!
The Saputo Atom Reps continued their OMHA playdowns last week vs the Waterford Wildcats.
On Monday, the Titans were on the road to Waterford, and after a aggressive penalty-filled match, suffered a 9-3 loss on the night. Point getters for Tavistock were Nathan Brenneman, Bo Schurink and Connor Roth. Back on home ice on Tuesday, the Titans, facing elimination, fought hard and came up with a 3-2 win, tying up the series. Titans' goal scorers were Nathan Brenneman (2) and Bo Schurink, while Dean Alexander chipped in with a helper. On Saturday in Waterford, game 5 proved to be an intense match as both teams battled to advance to the next round. After a 2-0 deficit going into the 3rd, the Titans fought back hard and were able to tie up the game to push it to overtime. The team dominated in the overtime period, keeping the play in the home team's zone. At the 6 minute mark, the Titans were able to slip one past the Waterford goaltender for the win!! Picking up points for Tavistock were Bo Schurink with a hattrick. Dean Alexander, Carter Otto, Nathan Brenneman and Ayden Wilkins added the assists. The Titans will advance to the next round of playoffs where they will face the Dunnville Mudcats. Good luck Titans!!
