Busy Week in Atom Rep Hockey
The Saputo Atom Reps had a busy schedule last week with 2 OMHA playoff games and 2 Southern Counties League playoff games.
OMHA playdowns action saw the team kick off their third round verses the Dunnville Mudcats, coming up with a win and a loss. Game 1 in Dunnville found the Titans in an overtime situation once again, picking up a 3-2 win early in the extra period. Picking up markers for Tavistock were Connor Roth, Bo Schurink and Dylan West, while assists went to Carter Otto, Dylan West, Dean Alexander, Nathan Brenneman and Ayden Wilkins. Game 2 was back on home ice with the Titans dropping a 3-1 decision to the Mudcats, tying the series at 1. Carter Otto scored the lone goal in that game with the help of Dylan West. Back in Southern Counties League playoff action, the Titans played host to the Norwich Nighthawks on Tuesday, coming up with a 3-1 victory. Goal scorers on the night were Ayden Wilkins, Tucker Otto (AP) and Dylan West, while Dean Alexander and Connor Roth added the helpers. On Wednesday in Langton, the team suffered a 2-0 loss to the Leafs. Next action for the Titans is Thursday in Dunnville for game 3 of OMHA playdowns.
