On Saturday afternoon the Titans made the trip west to take on the Embro Edge. Once again things didnt start out the way we had hoped with the edge getting an early 1-0 lead. However a solo rush by Corson gave the Titans a 1-1 tie after 1'
Embro came out flying to start the 2nd and after 4 minuets were rewarded with a 3-1 lead. a goal by Sam assisted by Mackayla late in the period gave the Titans a spark and everyone knew we would be in for an exciting 3rd period. The 2 teams didnt disappoint with end to end action and both goalies making great saves. Alex made a particular great post to post save with 5 minuets left to still give the Titans a chance. Things were looking bleak when Corson picked the puck up in his own end with 14 seconds left enough time for one last rush. The Edge goalie made the save on Corsons shot but Jayden was there to bang in the rebound with 5 seconds left giving the Titans a well deserved tie. The standings show the Titans in 9th place in the 15 team league with 5 games to go we are however only 3 points out of 4th so the opportunity to move up is there . they will get there next chance to do so on Saturday when they take on New Hamburg
