Simcoe Tourney Champs
The Dordan Mechanical Bantam Reps had a busy week with two league games and a tournament in Simcoe. Monday night they hosted Burford and skated to an easy 15-0 win. Tuesday night proved tougher when they travelled to Norwich and came up short with a 2-1 loss. Friday night saw the boys start the Simcoe Tournament with a 7-0 win over Dunnville. The next morning they faced Burford and won 9-0. Saturday night the faced Simcoe and lost 2-0. This put them into one of the semi finals Sunday morning where they faced Waterford and won 5-3 setting them up for a rematch against Simcoe. A tight game again saw Tavi this time come out with a 1-0 victory to win the tourney.
Both Sam Patton and Justin Roth were solid between the pipes all week. Point getters for the week were Carter McKay 7(3), Brady Griffi 7(2), Dylan Haight 5(4), Owen Donaldson 4(4), Izac Blum 4(5), Kyle Stock 3(3), Owen Hill 2(3), Drew Brenneman 2(4), Marc Dionne 1(8), Reid Forthuber 1(4), Jackson Sim 1(1), Kyle Burchatzki (3), Peter McIntosh (2), and Owen McArthur (1).
