Titans suffer loss against the Huskies
The PeeWee Titans gave it their all but just couldn't put any more black past the Huskie goalie.

‎It was a short drive to New Hamburg for the Woodstock Sportswear PeeWee LL to take on the Huskies, a rivalry that will probably never die.  This game could possibly go down in history as the only penalty-free game between these two teams!

The home team Huskies came on strong scoring two unanswered goals late in the first period.

‎The Titans were just getting warmed up however, and came out skating strong and hard into the second. Evan Britton "C" for the game, tried to get the puck past the Huskie goaltender, but the guard was just too quick. Drew Brenneman tried to ward off the home team's sticks and keep the puck on the damaging side of the blue line. It was a disappointing second period for the visitors, no score showing on the scoreboard despite some great shots from Sam Leis and Kaleb Albrecht.

The third saw both teams facing off ready to play a solid fifteen minutes of quality hockey. The home team got a break when the puck made an unlucky bounce. The score was 3-0 in favour of New Hamburg. Five minutes into the third CJ Myers did his signature skate with the puck and managed to snake it past the Huskie goalie. This gave the Titans what they needed, they were only behind by 2 with 10 minutes left in the game. ‎ Owen McArthur, Bo Schurink and Nick Alexander all had quality shots on the net but they just couldn't light the lamp up.
Again Myers got the puck which led to the same results! The visitors were looking at a one goal game, with 6 minutes left. The Titans did their best to keep the puck in the home team's end, racing hard with sticks flying.
The goalie was pulled but even with the extra attacker on the ice, the home team got to walk away with bragging rights. Final score was New Hamburg Huskies 3, Tavistock Titans 2.

The Titans face off against ‎the Plattsville Rage next Saturday at 1:30 on home ice.
