Titans Doubled By Plattsville
The Woodstock Sportswear PeeWee LL Titans were the host to the Plattsville Rage on Saturday.

The Plattsville Rage were true to their name on Saturday.  It was a game that was filled with hits and penalties.

Although there was already ink on the scoresheet, it wasn't until the final minutes of the first that the first goal was posted on the scoreboard.  The Rage would be ahead 1-0 at the end of the first.  Kaleb Albrecht had a few good shots, just couldn't beat the goalie.

18 seconds into the second period, Owen McArthur picked up the puck and managed to put it between the posts.  Helping to put the point up were Jackson Stolz and Nick Alexander.  The game was tied at 1, and both teams were playing equally well.  The Rage were giving the hits and having to take them too, the Titans soon realized the type of game that was being played.

Russ Sebben was making a key save when he passed off the puck to CJ Myers.  Myers took the puck and weaved through the opponents, facing up with the visiting goalie.  The winner of the show down was the Titan defenseman and the home team was up by 1.

Not far into the third, the Rage caught the puck and somehow managed to get it past Sebben.  Tie game again.  Thirty seconds later, Myers landed a pass to McArthur who flew the puck into the Rage net.  The Titans were ahead again, but this would be the last time.  Aaron Schlosser got caught holding 2 sticks when he kicked the puck away from the net which awarded him a trip into the box.  The only non aggressive penalty of the game (he was picking up his fellow team mate's goalie stick to help him out).

The visiting team would score 3 more unanswered goals (the last one into an empty net), despite strong defensive action by Drew Brenneman, Stolz, Myers and Schlosser.  Russ Sebben played a solid game in net.

The PeeWee's face off against the New Hamburg Huskies (#3) next Saturday at 3:50pm on home ice.
