Titans Playing With Full Roster
The PeeWee LL Titans are back to full force with Lucas Way returning to the line up after being on the injured list since the beginning of the season.

The Titans squared off against rivals New Hamburg Huskies just before Christmas. Although the teams were well matched, all of the puck luck went to the visiting team and the Huskies walked away with the win.

Bo Schurink was the first to put a mark on the scoresheet. He managed to sneak one past the Huskie goaltender on a pass from Evan Britton. The lead didn't last long, and soon the Huskies had tied it up. Despite many power play opportunities, the Titans just could not regain the lead in the first period.

CJ Myers had two successful breakaways in the second, both of them finding the back of the net. The Titans were playing shorthanded when visitor Simon vanRooyen ‎ shot one past Alex Marriott. The period ended with the Huskies up 4-3.

The locals knew that they had to turn things up if they wanted to get 2 points out of this game. The Huskies  struck again and the Titans were down by 2. Jayden Alexander slipped one into the net with help from Schurink and Britton. The game was within one goal once again. The Huskies thought they could stop another breakaway by throwing a stick at the puck but all that got them was to be on the short end of a penalty shot.  Sam Leis stood at center ice, the only thing in between him and the twine was the Huskie goalie and the puck.  The crowd held their breath as he pushed off, his stick taking control.  It was over within moments, Leis had lit the lamp up and it was again a tie game!

The Titans put the game in full tilt, but with just over three minutes left in the game, the Huskies put one in the Tavi net.  Even with the goalie pulled, the Titans couldn't even it up for the point and the rivals walked away with the 'W'.
