Titans Drop 2 Since Christmas
The holidays have proved to be anything but lucky for the PeeWee LL team as they faced off against Woolwich Wild and the first placed Embro Edge.
December 27 saw the Titans travel to Elmira to take on the Wild. The game remained scoreless until almost the end of the first, when the Wild took the lead. The second period was scoreless. The Wild would go on to score 3 more in the third to take the win. Braxten Breen (grandson to Doug and Diane Wiffen) seemed to be a one man show for the Wild that night, scoring 3 and assisting on the 4th goals. Final score was 4-0 for the home team.
This past Saturday, the Titans took the face off against the first placed Embro Edge. The only Titan goal was scored by CJ Myers. Bayslee Cressman and Lucas Way each got their first assist of the season - talk about teamwork! Despite a hard effort by the Titans, they came home suffering a 4-1 loss.
The team will participate in the Paris Tournament starting Thursday night, and will continue with regular league action on Sunday in Beverly.
