PeeWee Titans take on the Beverly Bandits after a well played Tournament in Paris
A well put together Pee Wee LL team traveled to Beverly to take on the first placed Bandits.

After giving it their all in the Paris tournament, the Pee Wee LL Titans brought their “A” game with them to face the first placed Beverly Bandits.  Bayslee Cressman proudly wore the “C” jersey, she had earned the privilege with all of her hard efforts displayed previously in the tournament.

Watching the first period, you would never know that there was such a wide point spread in the standings between these two teams.   Neither team dominated the puck, and time was spent equally in both ends.  The goalies made great saves, the defense stole the puck off of each other’s sticks and the forwards took off towards the net.  This was a great start to this hockey game, truly an enjoyable experience for everyone in the Beverly  ice barn.

It wasn’t until 3:04 of the second period that a 1 showed up on the scoreboard,  The Bandits had managed to finally break down the wall and slip one past the Titan Alex Marriott.  The visitors tried to break down the Bandit one as well but their goalie was rock solid and the Titans just could not sneak one past him.

The third saw the Bandits score 2 more and despite all of their attempts, the Titans could not find the back of the net.  The Bandits goalie was awarded the shut out, final score was 3-0.

The score definitely did not reflect the action of the game, the Titans played with their hearts and even after playing 4 games in 4 days, did not seem to get tired and slow down.  They gave it their all but just couldn’t beat the Bandits.
