Midget Rep Southern Counties Recap
The Delles Carriers Inc. / New-Life Mills Midget Reps began their Southern Counties regular season with a win, 2 losses, and a tie.
On October 14th, the Reps traveled to Tillsonburg to face off against the Tornadoes. The teams settled for a 2-2 tie, highlighted by strong goaltending at both ends in a fast, well played game. On October 18th, the boys faced off against Six Nations in Oshweken, falling 5-2 in a frustrating affair that saw Tavistock in penalty trouble for most of the game. The Reps fared better in their home opener the next night against St. George, using a strong all around effort to record their first win of the season by a 3-1 score. The Titans winning streak was short lived as they fell 6-2 to the Knighthawks in Norwich on October 25th. Next up for the Reps are home games against Delhi and Simcoe.
