Novice Rep Hockey News
The Bluemont Excavating Novice Rep team continued their
league round robin playoffs this past week with home and away matches against
Delhi. On Tuesday, the team was on the road to Delhi. After two periods the
titans found themselves down by two. Tavistock battled back early in the third
with a goal from Jay Alexander off a great pass from Cam Munro. Thirty seconds
later, Jackson MacMillan scored to tie up the game with help from Marshall
McKay. Delhi netted one late in the third to take the game 3-2.
On Wednesday, Delhi was in town. This game started similar to the night before where the team found themselves trailing by two at the end of the second. The boys battled hard in the third but couldn’t capitalize on their scoring chances and finished with a 3-0 loss. The team’s next action is Saturday, January 27th at home against Hagersville.
