The
Bluemont Excavating Novice Rep team continued their league round robin playoffs
with two games this past weekend. On Friday, the team travelled to Aylmer. After
a close first period, the home team pulled ahead, leaving the Titans with a 4-2
loss. Spencer Otto made many key saves in the Tavistock net to keep the game
close.
At home on Saturday the team played host to the St. George Generals. Tavistock jumped to an early lead in this game, finishing the first period up by three goals. The titans continued to pressure the Generals and came away with a 6-3 win. Grayden McRoberts was solid between the pipes for Tavistock, sealing the win. Putting up points for the weekend were Jay Alexander 3 (1), Keagan McMahon 2 (1), Cam Munro 1 (2), Marshall McKay 1(1), Parker Glitz 1, Drew Roth (2), Jackson MacMillan (1), Dylan McCann (1), Evan Nahrgang (1), Tyler LaFleur (1), Peyton Christie (1), Brady Kuiak (1) and Grayden McRoberts (1).
The team will start their OMHA playdowns this Saturday at 3:10 in Tavistock against Waterford. Come out and cheer on the Novice Rep team!!
