Novice Reps OMHA Action
The Bluemont Excavating Novice Reps began their OMHA playdowns this past Saturday when they hosted the Waterford Wildcats in game 1 of the series.
The Titans got on the board early, with the Wildcats answering back several minutes later, making it a tie game at the end of one. Both teams continued to battle hard throughout the next frame, ending up with a close one-goal game in favour of the hometown team after 2 periods. The third period saw a determined Titans squad pressure the visiting team, and came away with a convincing 7-2 win. Marshall McKay potted a hattrick while Keagan McMahon, Tyler LaFleur, Jay Alexander and Cam Munro added singles. Assisting on those goals were Peyton Christie, Parker Glitz, Evan Nahrgang, LaFleur, Alexander and McMahon (2). Netminder, Spencer Otto, made many key saves between the pipes for Tavistock to seal the win! The team will travel to Waterford on Monday, February 12th for game 2 of the series.
