Submitted By Sara MacMillian on Thursday, February 21, 2019
The Bluemont Excavating Novice Reps started their OMHA playdowns this past week versus the Twin Centre Stars. Game one was on the road in Wellesley. The boys jumped to an early lead but the stars answered back to tie the game after two frames. The titans put up two more in the third to finish with a 5-4 win.
On Saturday, the team was on home ice for game two. This was another great game that saw the teams tied at the end of the first period. In the second period the titans took the lead with four goals scored in less than two minutes. Both teams added goals in the third period, but Tavistock maintained their lead and ended the game with a 7-4 win. Spencer Otto played two great games between the pipes for Tavistock.

The team also continued their Southern Counties playoffs on February 5th with a game against Tillsonburg. The titans put up points in all three periods on their way to winning 7-0. Spencer Otto earned the shut-out.

Putting up points in this game were Camden Bartlett 2, McMahon 4(1), McKay 1(2), Luka Verkuyl (2), Carter Cook (1), Christie (1), and Calvin Verkuyl (1).
