The Bluemont Excavating Novice Reps advanced to the semi-finals in OMHA playdowns after sweeping Twin Centre in three games. The third game of the series went on February 19th. The titans came out skating hard and took the lead midway through the first. Tavistock maintained their lead through the next two periods to finish with a 6-4 win.

The Bluemont Excavating Novice Reps started their OMHA playdowns this past week versus the Twin Centre Stars. Game one was on the road in Wellesley. The boys jumped to an early lead but the stars answered back to tie the game after two frames. The titans put up two more in the third to finish with a 5-4 win.
On Saturday, the team was on home ice for game two. This was another great game that saw the teams tied at the end of the first period. In the second period the titans took the lead with four goals scored in less than two minutes. Both teams added goals in the third period, but Tavistock maintained their lead and ended the game with a 7-4 win. Spencer Otto played two great games between the pipes for Tavistock.

The Bluemont Excavating Novice Reps started their league
playoffs this past week. On Wednesday, the team travelled to Langton to take on
the Leafs. This game saw the home team go ahead first. Tavistock battled back
in the third putting up two goals, but Langton scored with a minute left to tie
it up. Tavistock pressured the Leafs in the last minute but weren’t able to
capitalize and finished with a 2-2 tie. On Sunday, the boys were on the road to
Tillsonburg. Tavistock got on the board first in this game and maintained the
lead throughout the game. The titans came away with a 5-3 win.
